Tadawul index gains slightly
Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia's Tasi-Index closed 0.65% higher at 5,980.36 points. Market bellwether Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic), the Riyadh-based petrochemical giant, outperformed the market, gaining 2.71% on recovering oil prices (2.95% higher). Saqr Insurance posted the largest loss (5.11% lower) on profit booking. All sector index gained territory with the exception of real estate development (insignificant loss of 0.02%). [AMEInfo.com]
