UAE ranks 4th in global retail index

United Arab Emirates: The UAE has jumped from 16th place to number four in the ranks of most potentially lucrative markets in the world for retailers, according to AT Kearney’s annual Global Retail Development Index. The report ranks 30 emerging countries with India leading the index, ahead of Russia, China, then the UAE. Saudi Arabia bagged fifth, up by two places. [AMEInfo.com]
