Deputy Director- Finance

Overview Leads & Manages A&M spend, Brand P&Ls & Innovation financials for all the categories for BU. This role also leads financial development & tracking of all innovations across all the categories and represents finance in various innovation stage gate meetings. Responsibilities This role also leads financial development & tracking of all innovations across all the categories and represents finance in various innovation stage gate meetings Leads A&M financial planning and reporting process and deliverables. Partner with CMO and Category Marketing Leads to performance manage A&M and total marketing spend ROI optimisation (including direct and indirect “STB” spend) Lead NPD financial assessment reporting processes across to optimise commercialization decision making Leads and manages budgetary control on various A&M projects Works with A&M procurement team to ensure compliance of SOA and other procurement efficiencies Manage and optimise Brand P&Ls reporting processes and submissions across to opitimise portfolio and mix decision making Manage and develop team of Category Innovation and A&M analysts (matrix reports) across Categories Develop Category finance capability throughout marketing and finance teams across. Manage and coordinate Sector financial planning and reporting submissions accurately and timely Lead financial analysis and trade-offs providing decision support and insights for IBP Portfolio Analysis Cycle Lead integration and alignment of A&M + innovation financial planning and reporting processes across. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in finance and planning Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in commerce/business administration / economic with high level of Finance & Accounting Experience. CMA/MBA/CPA Finance is preferred Sound knowledge of financial systems (SAP, HFM, MS Office and Other financial reporting systems) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good understanding of business processes Strong technical knowledge and experience of both Management reporting and planning processes Experience in working with GBS (Preferred FMCG sector) will be an added advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English and Arabic language
