Job Description

This position is responsible for the operational and transactional actions of the employee life cycle at Believe. Role includes assisting in end-to-end HR processes, applying company policies, process adherence, and managing internal HR systems. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive HR experience in HR operations roles and good knowledge of HR Information System.


This position reports to the Manager – People Operations


Responsibilities:


Onboarding and Induction:


  • Plan and coordinate with new hire Onboarding and induction programs
  • Ensure the smooth transition of new employees in Believe
  • Manage the complete process of employee documentation and data management
  • Data Maintenance of new hires for compliance and benefits enrolment and documentation
  • Ensure smooth On-boarding process in respect to the system data mandates

HR Operations & Employee Life Cycle:


  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Assist in queries related to employee benefits (Insurance & Leaves)
  • Timely maintenance of employee files & documentation (Internal Audits)
  • Ensuring accuracy in employee Life cycle events like confirmations, internal movement and separations / exit formalities
  • Miscellaneous requirement – Ex. Bonafide / Visa Letters

Leave Governance (Attendance Management) and Reporting:


  • Manage employee attendance records and ensure timely updates in the leave management tool
  • Monitor employee attendance and leave requests, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws
  • Prepare attendance reports

Payroll Management & Statutory Compliance:


  • Assuring data hygiene & maintain accurate payroll data
  • Manage end to end payroll processing for all employees
  • Ensure payroll process is completed within timelines and accuracy
  • Accountable for flexi payments and validations of actual proofs & claims submissions
  • Adhering to the payroll statutory compliance and company policies
  • Preparing regular reports related to payroll and statutory compliance
  • End to End liaising with the statutory compliance team and the tax vendor to support and ensure smooth and error free process
  • Assist in audit requirements

What we are looking for:


  • 4+ years of Payroll and People Operations experience.
  • Detail oriented resource with hands on experience into HR Operations, Payroll Management and Employee Life Cycle
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel skills such as Pivot table, Vlookup, Hlookup & Macros
  • Must maintain confidentiality and sensitive data / information
  • Hands-On experience in operating on HRIS
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
