 About the role.


Under the general direction of the Front Office Manager, and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group policies and procedures and local hotel policies and procedure, assists in the forward planning of the department which includes Duty Manager, Guest Relations, Reception, Telephone Services, Business Centre and Concierge operations.


What's the job?


Responsible to co-ordinate and oversee all hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager or designate during nights. The principal responsibility is safety and security of guests and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function during the night shift.  


Oversees the Night Audit Function 


Develops and maintains standards and procedures, produces revenue reports, performs file backup maintenance, reviews and reconciles daily sales transactions from the front office and all outlets, balances cash registers, reports discrepancies to Line Managers, completes weekend and month-end reports as per policy, and advises Line Managers of recurring errors.
